Corrosion and scale inhibitor FCA1600

FCA1600 is an ultra-low phosphorus composite corrosion and scale inhibitor engineered for water treatment applications with stringent environmental compliance requirements. Leveraging phosphorus-substitute technology and an eco-friendly corrosion inhibition system, it overcomes limitations of conventional phosphorus-based formulations. Through synergistic action of multi-copolymer dispersion and targeted corrosion protection, it effectively suppresses inorganic scaling (e.g., calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate) while providing balanced protection for carbon steel, copper alloys, stainless steel, and aluminum under high-hardness, high-alkalinity conditions. With significantly reduced eutrophication risk in discharge water, FCA1600 is widely adopted across power, metallurgy, refining, and chemical industries where phosphorus discharge is strictly regulated—empowering enterprises to advance green water management and sustainable operations.

Product Features

  • Ultra-Low Phosphorus Certification: Total phosphorus ≤2.0% (as PO43-), well below conventional levels; aligns with stringent discharge standards to mitigate eutrophication risks.
  • Eco-Technology Pathway: Replaces high-phosphorus components with organophosphonate alternatives, balancing scale inhibition efficacy with environmental responsibility for sensitive watersheds and eco-industrial parks.
  • Comprehensive Metal Protection: Azole-based inhibitors deliver targeted copper alloy defense while preventing galvanic corrosion across heterogeneous metal systems.
  • Robust Water Adaptability: Maintains stable performance under demanding conditions (hardness ≤1000 mg/L as CaCO3, system pH 7.0–9.2) with strong resistance to water quality fluctuations.
  • Seamless Chemical Compatibility: Compatible with oxidizing/non-oxidizing biocides—no precipitation or antagonism, streamlining chemical management protocols.
  • Economical & Safe Application: Solid content ≥21.0%; recommended dosage 50–80 mg/L. Low-toxicity liquid formulation integrates smoothly with automated dosing systems for safe, efficient operation.

Dosage Instructions

  • Application Scope: Suitable for open recirculating cooling water systems in power, metallurgy, refining, and chemical industries—especially ideal for high-hardness, high-alkalinity, high-pH water conditions and scenarios with strict phosphorus discharge controls.
  • Dosing Method: Continuous injection via metering pump into circulation loop; recommended dosage: 50–80 mg/L (based on system water volume). Adjust according to water analysis (Ca2+, HCO3, Cl) and corrosion monitoring. Maintain system operating pH within 7.0–9.2.

Packing and Storage

25 kg plastic drums; custom packaging available. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.

Shelf Life

12 months.

Safety and Protection

Weakly acidic liquid. Wear protective gloves, goggles, and workwear during handling. Avoid skin/eye contact. In case of contact, rinse with ample water immediately for ≥15 minutes; seek medical attention if irritation persists.
