Reducing agent FRA3000

FRA3000 Membrane System Reducing Agent is a critical protective chemical engineered to safeguard reverse osmosis systems by efficiently eliminating residual chlorine and other oxidizing substances from feed water. Acting as an “oxidation barrier” for membrane elements, it rapidly and completely neutralizes oxidants through reliable reduction reactions, effectively preventing irreversible damage to polyamide membranes and significantly extending system service life. Validated across diverse industrial applications, its formulation integrates seamlessly with standard pretreatment processes. Widely deployed in high-purity water systems—including power plant boiler feedwater, electronic ultrapure water, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing—FRA3000 delivers precise, dependable oxidation protection for mission-critical membrane operations.

Product Features

  • Precision Oxidation Control: Efficiently neutralizes residual chlorine and oxidants; theoretical dosage: 7.35 ppm FRA3000 per 1 ppm residual chlorine (adjust based on water quality testing).
  • Universal Membrane Compatibility: Safe for all major RO membrane brands (Dow, Hydranautics, Toray, Koch, etc.) with zero compatibility concerns.
  • Operational Flexibility: Liquid formulation supports neat or diluted (1:1 to 1:2) dosing; adaptable to diverse chemical feed systems.
  • Stability Management: Diluted solution should be used within 7 days to prevent oxidation-induced efficacy loss; neat product maintains excellent shelf stability.
  • Proven Industry Application: Extensively used in power generation, microelectronics, biopharmaceuticals, and food & beverage sectors for high-purity water production.
  • Eco-Safe & Compliant: Reaction byproducts are benign sulfates; aligns with industrial environmental standards and clear safety protocols.
